Be Heart Healthy with Omega-3...
Omega 3’s are amazing. They are anti-inflammatory with an effect that dispels minor pains, headaches or arthritic condi- tions.  There is a theory that heart disease and cancer are the result of years of inflammation. In fact, the level of C-reactive protein in the blood is used as a measure of inflammation.  It is also a marker for potential stroke and heart attack risk.  It may be that chronic inflammation can change cells over time in a malignant way. Omega 3's work against chronic inflam- mation and also relieve bowel problems including colitis, irritable bowel syndrome & possibly more serious conditions.

Omega 3’s also tend to thin the blood, which is good for circula- tion and clot prevention. Arteries get narrower as we age. That is not a problem as long as the blood flows, but if the clot is near the heart we get a heart attack, if it occurs near the brain we get a stroke. Some physicians recommend a half aspirin a day to prevent this, but even a daily coated baby aspirin does more damage to the stomach then the hottest peppers. Omega 3’s have no side effects and with the Vitamin E we provide in Methuselah Oils, may actually prevent blood clots. Omega 3's also work well to control triglycerides, the chemical form in which most fat exists in our bodies, reducing risk for heart attacks and strokes. They also have a positive effect on brain function and are necessary for healthy brain cells.
